In a small street near the city center of Madrid, we find Riccardo and Vittorio Figurato. They left Italy determined to bring the contemporary Neapolitan pizza to the Spanish capital which turned out to be a real success that encountered the favor of the public as well as the critics. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the folkloric Neapolitan pizzerias, simple, but refined at the same time. The strength of this place, in addition to the courtesy and kindness of the waitstaff is, without a doubt, the dough, which is well leavened and elastic; the crust is high and soft. Among the pizzas, the “broccoli e salsiccia” (broccoli and sausage) is a must-try, as is the “Diego Armando”, which is clearly dedicated to Maradona, made with baked cherry tomatoes. The prices manage to remain in the average for the city, making this pizzeria very desirable, considering the high quality of the raw materials used. After the pizza, the Sicilian cannoli and the excellent coffee are in order.
