This artisan pizza chain was founded in Naples, more precisely back in 1997, as a brainchild of three partners:  Giuseppe Marotta, Franco Manna and Giuseppe Montella.  It was a revolutionary idea back then that was ahead of its time:  the idea of reproducing the artisanship of the art of the Neapolitan pizza chef and the spirit of Neapolitan flavors in a chain format.  The offer is substantially the same even when the chain went through a change in ownership, and even today when it is owned by an investment fund.  In the meantime, a solid partnership with Eataly was created in Italy, but especially on the international level where today there are more than one hundred locations with this brand or other brands under the same group.  The strength is in the fact that we are dealing with bona fide pizzerias where everything is made to order.  It is the capacity to replicate the artisanship of the Neapolitan pizza that is one of the great merits of Rossopomodoro.  It has reproduced something that no one thought possible over twenty years ago.
