Kampi Keskus, a well-known shopping center in the Kamppi district, in the center of Helsinki, is the second location of Villa Severino, which has been a great success since its opening in the Helsinki outlet. The credit goes to the entire staff, but especially to Severino Salzano, originally from Naples, who has been able to combine the Neapolitan tradition of pizza with Nordic tastes. The restaurant is beautiful and glamorous, with Italian style evident in every detail. The dough is contemporary with a touch of alternative flours that make each bite very tasty, with consistently high-quality cooking. The menu includes appetizers and salads, a selection of traditional first and second courses, such as the excellent Nanninella meatballs. Among the pizzas, we recommend trying the Ricordi di casa, with a delicious smoked provolone that comes directly from the Campania region. Extra ingredients can be added to the pizzas for a small additional charge, such as San Daniele prosciutto or burrata. The drink selection is good, especially the Gin and tonic. The service is very knowledgeable and the prices are average for the city, but with significantly higher quality.
