Apogeo in Pietrasanta is an example of an excellent pizzeria. For years they have been making great pizza using correct leavening processes and toppings that are never mundane using select quality products. Both the classic ‘margherita‘ and ‘marinara‘ as well as the successful ‘Giovanna‘ (with pancetta and truffle) or the ‘focaccia‘ with porchetta never disappoint. The service is always efficient even during the busy summer weekends thanks to the well-prepared and attentive staff. The appetizers are worthy of praise, as are the variety and care put into the desserts. They are the result of real culinary effort rather than just simple cooking. The list of wines, beers, and cocktails is certainly extensive. It is a pleasant experience to dine on the terrace. This place is without a doubt among the best pizzerias in Tuscany, or Italy for that matter.
