10 Diego Vitagliano Pizzeria
The pizzeria overlooks one of Pozzuoli’s most fascinating spots. In the hot season, almost always to tell the truth, in these parts, you can eat outdoors. The service is courteous and the proposed beer menu is interesting while there is still work to be done on the proposed wine list. Diego Vitagliano’s dough mix, very young but with over 15 years of experience behind him, is already at the top. Soft, airy as the Neapolitan tradition expects, with a very pronounced crust, a sign of a thorough study on the dough. Diego’s new challenge is a whole vegetable garden in which to cultivate vegetables for his pizzas. Among the classic pizzas, really delicious is the Margherita, the “four cases” and the citrus pizza of the Phlegraean Fields.
