The Quntili pizzeria has shown new light on the Tor Bella Monaca district: Marco Quintili’s establishment is located not far from Via Casilina. The outdoor space, which has been carefully set up, is useful as it allows for ample social distancing among the tables and dining under the suburban Roman sky. The menu is digital, and the service is well-organized and courteous. Marco Quintili’s pizza is in the contemporary Neapolitan style: extremely light with tasty toppings, and with a few theatrical elements such as the flambè on the “Gricia in Fiamme.” We recommend the Carbonara, which amazes for its dehydrated egg yolk, which is grated by the pizza chef at your table. You also must not miss the Cesarina, prepared with cesarino heirloom tomatoes, smoked buffalo-milk mozzarella, Neapolitan tarallo, pecorino and Cuvée pepper. Every pizza is paired to a specific extra-virgin olive oil. The fried offerings are captivating, such as the frittatine di pasta and the potato croquettes. The wine list, which includes over 50 labels, is also interesting.
