In the ordinarily touristy city of Cagliari, Framento stands out for its identity and character. The format is reminiscent of many other contemporary pizzerias with a modern décor.  For example, the menu is a paper mat on the table and the specialty of the month is displayed on a blackboard. The pizza chef always uses mother yeast and long leavening times.  The result is a fragrant, digestible product. The staff is prepared but appears slightly distracted when the place is full. The wine selection is in continual growth. The gastronomic proposal is specific and reflects the local territory.  There are a few special touches, such as the summer pizza: the Rimuginata, with chunks of smoked mullet, cherry tomatoes, fiordilatte, and mint.
