How far is it from Vico Lungo San Matteo to the Champs Elysées? It’s an entire lifetime that you can fit in between, starting from the Spanish Quarters of Naples to conquer the City of Light. That’s because Peppe Cutraro has won over France with his pizzas. Just two years after the first pizzeria replicated his format, the success has only grown. The dough is of the modern kind, with a pronounced crust, as light as a feather. The toppings are centered and well-distributed, especially on the Paris/Napoli calzone, a creation in collaboration with chef Denny Imbroisi, featuring Molise truffle, guanciale, Apulian burrata, Parisian mushrooms – a true delight. The offerings of salads, appetizers, and desserts are also excellent. The service is warm and particularly friendly. A small selection of wines, all Italian, completes the menu.
