Maurizio de Rosa è nato a Napoli. Discendente di tre generazioni di fornai, imparò il mestiere di pizzaiolo da giovane grazie agli insegnamenti dell’amata zia Antonietta, che aveva la sua pizzeria nei Quartieri Spagnoli, a Napoli. Pizze napoletane cotte nel forno a legna, deliziose, ma anche montanare, morbide e fragranti, da provare assolutamente perché sono una chicca difficile da trovare fuori dall’Italia.
Maurizio de Rosa was born in Naples. He comes from three generations of bakers. He learned the craft of pizza making when he was young thanks to the teachings of his beloved aunt Antonietta. She had her own pizzeria in the Spanish Quarter of Naples. The delicious pizzas here are made in the Neapolitan style and baked in a wood-fired oven. However, the montanare are excellent as well; they are soft and fragrant and we absolutely recommend them as a must. They are very difficult to find made this well outside of Italy.
