Da non perdere
Frumento is a young establishment that is well-liked for the freshness of its proposal which puts together good mixed drinks, an ample selection of wines, sparkling wines, beers, and pizzas designed as a base to welcome quality ingredients that come from every imaginable place. They include everything from the Trunzo di Aci cabbage to the vastedda from Belice, to the black swine salamis from Nebrodi, to the red shrimp from Marzara to the porchetta from Ariccia and the Iberian ham. The menu changes often to valorize the seasonality of the fresh ingredients. It might just happen that you will find a truffle grated on a pizza designed just for that period of the year, for example. Apart from the thin and rustic pizzas with Russello grano and the Neapolitans with white flour, you can choose from doughs with antique Khorasan grains or with Enkir flour with its wild seeds. The dining room staff is kind. The locale is in a good position overlooking Piazza Mazzini with a view of the San Sebastiano Basilica.
