Marghe is located in Via Plinio, in a convenient position just a few meters from the crowded shopping district of the Corso Buenos Aires. Despite the fact that most of the décor follows the style of the first Marghe in Via Cadore, there are some marvelous additions. For example, generous sofas have been placed in front of a splendid unfinished cement wall. The pizza at Marghe is a “revisited Neapolitan” with wholegrain seed flour and a 30-hour leavening period. Recently they have been proposing a style that comes close to the “canotto,” (boat-style), which is much appreciated by the new generation of pizza lovers. The crust is pronounced and light, and it is topped with excellent products, especially the fiordilatte and the San Marzano tomatoes. We recommend the “2” with San Marzano tomatoes, buffalo-milk mozzarella, Piennolo cherry tomatoes, black pepper, basil and EVOO. Apart from the pizza, which is truly very good and among the best in Milan, Marghe is also famous for its staff: they are all young, cheerful and courteous.
