Pasquale Penne’s pizzeria is found in its historic location behind the town’s main train station. It is not a big place, and is furnished in a minimalistic style in shades of red. The pizza made is in the Neapolitan style so it has the typical high crust. The toppings used prioritize the wide variety of raw materials from Campania. A perfect balance is the goal here, especially with respect to the toppings. We recommend the “Corbarina” with fiordilatte from Agerola, yellow tomatoes from Corbara, basil, and the organic extra virgin olive oil that interacts with the gentle acidity of the tomato and the sweetness of the mozzarella. Another noteworthy pizza is the one with Spilinga Nduja which is spicy, but not excessively so. The waitstaff is at times a little bit hurried. There is a well-varied selection of beers.
