Lievito is a pizzeria whose name reflects the true essence of a pizzeria from the dough to the beer. A combination of ingredients is designed for a tasty, refined final product. The business venture created by Rocco Caridi, Francesco Donato and Domenico Bagnato has marked and continues to trace the path of contemporary territorial pizzas. The dough is if left to rise for 72 hours, and a sourdough starter is used. Gluten-free pizzas are available as are others made with hemp sativa. A signature pizza that summarises the philosophy of this establishment is the pizza Lievito la Platone. It is made with smoked swordfish, burrata, Calabrese pesto with bergamot oil, capers, olives, anchovies, and tomatoes. The outdoor dining area created on the pedestrian street is cosy.
