Vàsame

Nella vasta offerta versiliese mancava sulla passeggiata di Viareggio una vera pizzeria napoletana. In questa stagione è arrivata Vasame (baciami in lingua napoletana) primo punto vendita di una prossima catena di pizzerie. I locali sono moderni e strutturati per un servizio veloce e informale, benché di livello medio alto. Anche i prezzi si collocano nella fascia più alta con le basiche a 9/10 euro e le più ricche a 13/16. Siamo però in pieno centro della cittadina balneare e pure la qualità degli ingredienti suffraga la spesa. Un po’ di attenzione nell’offerta bevande e nella cura del cliente sarebbe auspicabile per diventare una buona tappa fissa per i locali e per i numerosi turisti.

Among the vast venue options along the beautiful Viareggio promenade, a true Neapolitan pizzeria was missing. The pizzeria Vàsame (meaning 'kiss me' in the Neapolitan language) is the first location of many others to come. The premises are modern, structured for fast and informal service at a medium to high level. Prices also tend to be in the higher range with the basic pizzas at about 9 to 10 euros going up to about 13 to 16 euros for the more elaborate ones. We have to, however, consider the location; we are in the center of an old, historic Italian city, along the seaside.  Even the quality of the ingredients is affected by the higher prices. A little more attention to the drink menu and in customer care would help make this location a must-stop for the many tourists.
