Angelo Pezzella ha dato il suo nome e cognome alla pizzeria che aveva aperto nella primavera 2017 su via Appia Nuova (si chiamava That’s Amore), all’altezza dell’Ippodromo Capannelle. Un locale elegante, con un servizio attento e molto efficiente, che funziona da cucina e pizzeria. Piatti semplici della tradizione napoletana e pizze dall’impasto studiato, con qualche sperimentazione, ma dal risultato molto convincente. Qui siamo davvero davanti alla pizza napoletana verace, quella tradizionale, senza canotti, con un cornicione non invasivo e una base che si distingue per grande manualità. La margherita, ad esempio, è eccezionale, a partire dal prezzo: è in carta a soli 5 euro!

An elegant restaurant, with an attentive and very efficient service, that functions as a kitchen and pizzeria. Simple dishes of the Neapolitan tradition are prepared as well as studied pizzas doughs, with some experimentation, but a very convincing result. Here, we are truly presented with a real Neapolitan pizza, a traditional one, not in a boat style, with a non-invasive crust and a base that stands out for its great dexterity. The margherita, for example, is exceptional, starting from the price: it's on the menu for only 5 euros!
