The complete ranking for 50 Top Pizza Europa 2025
Napoli on the Road, in London, has been confirmed as the best pizzeria in Europe for 2025. This was the outcome according to the most influential guide in the world of pizza, 50 Top Pizza, announced yesterday evening at the Fundación Pablo VI in Madrid, during a grand ceremony that was broadcast live on the network’s social channels and presented by Spanish journalist and influencer Verónica Zumalacárregui.
This marks an important reconfirmation for Michele Pascarella, following last year’s success. Next up is Baldoria in Madrid by Ciro Cristiano, also becoming the best pizzeria in Spain for this year. In third place, we have a tie: Sartoria Panatieri in Barcelona, by Jorge Sastre and Rafa Panatieri, and Via Toledo in Vienna, by Francesco Calò. In fourth place, we’re back in London with 50 Kalò, by Ciro Salvo. For fifth place, we go to France, more precisely to Puteaux with IMperfetto, by the duo Tonino Cogliano and Simone Lombardi.
Sixth place goes to Pizza Zulu in Fürth, Germany, by Gaspare Squitieri. In seventh place, we find nNea in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, by Vincenzo Onnembo. For eighth place we return to Madrid with Fratelli Figurato, by Riccardo and Vittorio Figurato, while ninth place goes to Sapori Italiani U Taliana in Bratislava, Slovakia, by Andrea Ena. Closing up the top ten is Forno d’Oro in Lisbon, Portugal, by Tanka Sapkota.
The top 20 positions in the 50 Top Pizza Europa 2025 ranking are automatically placed into the 100 Best Pizzerias in the World, which will be awarded on September 8th at the historic Teatro Mercadante in Naples, during the 50 Top Pizza World 2025 awards ceremony.

The Pizza Maker of the Year 2025 – Ferrarelle Award goes to Andrea Ena of Sapori Italiani U Taliana, in Bratislava; the Pizza of the Year 2025 – Latteria Sorrentina Award goes to Ricordi d’Infanzia by Napoli on the Road, in London; the Best Pasta Proposal 2025 – Pastificio Di Martino Award goes to Matto Napoletano, in Skopje; the Best Beer Service 2025 – Peroni Nastro Azzurro Award goes to Via Toledo, in Vienna; the Best Cocktail List 2025 – Sei Bellissimi Award goes to Baldoria, in Madrid; the Made in Italy 2025 – Salumi Coati Award goes to IMperfetto, in Puteaux; the Performance of the Year 2025 – Robo Award goes to Forno d’Oro, in Lisbon; the New Entry of the Year 2025 – Solania Award goes to Babette, in Stockholm; the Best Wine List 2025 – La Gioiosa Award goes to La Piola Pizza, in Brussels; the Best Customer Satisfaction 2025 – Maistà Award goes to nNea, in Amsterdam; the Best Marketing 2025 – Mammafiore Award goes to Zielona Górka, in Pabianice; the Best Dessert List 2025 – Latteria San Salvatore Award goes to Sartoria Panatieri, in Barcelona; and, finally, the Best Fried Food 2025 – Il Fritturista – Oleificio Zucchi Award goes to Fratelli Figurato, in Madrid.
The Green Oven 2025 – Goeldlin, the recognition given to pizzerias that have shown great attention to environmental sustainability, was awarded to Bæst, in Copenhagen, and to Sartoria Panatieri, in Barcelona.
The entire Europa 2025 guide, consisting of 193 pizzerias, sees Spain as the most represented nation with 31 pizzerias, followed by France with 22 and England and Switzerland both with 16. The most represented city is Paris with 16 pizzerias followed by London with 11 and Madrid with 9.
“We wanted to give even more space to the European development in 2025 with the Road to Madrid, which included Pizza Weeks in Switzerland and Spain – say the three curators of 50 Top Pizza, Barbara Guerra, Luciano Pignataro and Albert Sapere –, because quality continues to grow nonstop. This year too we wanted to emphasize the growing value of the European evolution, by including the category ‘Excellent’ to the guide. About 150 pizzerias scattered around the Old Continent, where you can eat an excellent pizza, which are added to the 50 positions in the ranking.”
The next appointment with 50 Top Pizza is set for July 1st, live from New York, at the West Edge inside Chelsea Market, for the presentation of the 50 Top Pizza USA 2025 guide.
